Join Mandy Salter, Director/ Curator at the Art Gallery of Mississauga, for an in-your-face highlights tour focusing on artists and gallerists who are pushing the traditional boundaries of the art market. This tour supports those creative practices that move beyond the status quo in relevant and progressive ways.
Sunday, October 30
Jeffrey Spalding, Senior Curator, Beaverbrook Art Gallery, leads the If I had a Million Dollars tour of Art Toronto 2016. Spalding has attended every Art Toronto fair from its inception. He will scour the fair looking to present to you the most notable works of international and Canadian historical and contemporary art. He will be looking to place you in the company of both the evident runaway blue chip star attractions of the fair, as well as scouting emerging talent. So, just maybe you won’t need a million dollars?
